Cancellations, Substitutions, Downgrades & Upgrades
If you need to cancel your conference or tutorial registration, you may do so for a full refund, less a $150.00 nonrefundable service charge until Monday February 1, 2008. Attendees who register prior to or after the cancellation deadline date who do not cancel in writing by the deadline date are liable and will be charged for the full registration fee. Cancellation requests received after February 1, 2008 cannot be processed. Sorry, no refunds are available for no-shows. If you are unable to participate in the event, we recommend sending an associate in your place.
Changes to registrations must be presented in written form. Please download the Registration Change Form and fax your cancellation, changes or substitution request to (415) 947-6020, or mail your request to:

Written requests for a downgraded pass must be received no later than Monday February 1, 2008 for a full refund on the difference of registration fees between the value of the original and downgraded pass. Requests received after Monday February 1, 2008 cannot be accommodated. Expo Only passes are not valid to downgrade to.
Upgrade pass requests must be submitted in writing and either mailed to the address above or faxed to (415) 947-6020 along with payment information for the difference in value. Upgraded passes will be charged the difference in registration fees at the time that the request is submitted; no retroactive reduced registration fee will apply.
Substitutions are allowed only with the written permission of the original registrant. Please mail your substitution request to the above address, or fax to (415) 947-6020.

Important Payment by Check Information
If you selected payment by check, please be aware that all check payments must be received by the Registration Department no later than Friday, February 22, 2008 in order to apply the payment to your registration. If you are unable to meet this deadline, please pay by credit card by accessing your registration as a returning user and follow the prompts to pay with a credit card.

Program Changes
The Dr. Dobb's Events Group, producers of SD West 2008, reserve the right to make changes in the program and speakers, or to cancel sessions if enrollment criteria are not met, or when conditions beyond its control prevail. All sessions, excluding C++ Super Session, are filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. Arrive early to ensure a seat! Recording devices and cameras, still or video, are prohibited.

Advance Badge Mailing
In mid-February, badges will be mailed to Expo Pass registrants who reside in California and to all paid conference registrants, regardless of state or country. Expo Pass registrants who reside outside of California and all those who register after February 4, 2008, regardless of pass type, can pick-up their badge on-site at the event.

Please notify us if either of the following occur:
- Duplicate Catalogs & Removal from Mailing List: If you’re receiving duplicate copies of our conference brochure, please enclose the address area from each duplicate conference catalog you’d like to be removed from and mail or fax to the above address. To be removed from the mailing list, please fax or mail your address area from your catalog with instructions to be removed from the mailing list.

Age Limit
Due to safety concerns, no one under the age of 18 (including infants in strollers) will be permitted on the Expo floor at any time during SD West 2008.
